Lanamatic Rodless Cylinders offer a number of features and benefits over your traditional pneumatic actuator. Rodless cylinders provide significant space savings since the driving rod is held internal to the unit's body. Load carrying ability is increased since the load is now always carried through the length of the body rather than a single rod on traditional cylinders. Lanamatic's Z-line rodless cylinders have the unique capability of withstanding cylinder distortion which causes binding on competitor cylinders at high pressures. Z-line cylinders transmit power through a floating connection to the carriers on one or more of the fixed sides of the tube profile, thereby being able to prevent carriage binding. Z-line cylinders are available in a variety of options: different carriage configurations, various sizes, compact or standard, and with a full line of accessories.
